Abstract
Atmospheric aerosol particles can directly and indirectly affect the earth's
radiative balance thus influencing climate. Here I describe some of these
mechanisms, present measurements from NOAAs collaborative global monitoring
network and discuss future needs and plans for aerosol-climate research.
I will attempt to frame the discussion in the context of potential climate
change in the Caribbean.
